Basic Requirements:

Must be a Registered Nurse.

Must be registered with An Board Altranais, The Irish Nursing Board.

Specific Requirements:
General Nurse (B):
In addition to general experience, must also have geriatric experience.
General Nurse (C):
General experience required, but also must have experience in dealing with children who are mentally and
physically disabled.
General Nurse (D):
In addition to general experience, must have at least one year’s experience in OR/THEATRE NURSING in
any category (general, neuro, ophthalmic etc.).
General Nurse (E):
In addition to at least one year of Med/Surg ward experience, must also have at least one year’s
experience in either ICU, CCU or HDU.
